We’re looking for an experienced, commercially savvy Senior Project Manager to join our high-performing Dynamics 365 team, delivering across Business Central and Finance & Operations (F&O). This is a strategic opportunity to lead large-scale ERP projects, build trusted executive relationships, and drive meaningful business transformation across more than one Dynamics 365 product.
About the Opportunity
You’ll take ownership of end-to-end delivery across complex Dynamics 365 ERP projects, spanning Business Central, Finance & Operations, or hybrid environments, guiding customers from initial engagement through to go-live, hypercare, and transition to support. Acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, you’ll provide clear direction, strong governance, and confident leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
This role is ideal for a Project Manager who enjoys variety and scale - someone who is comfortable operating across different ERP platforms and understands how to adapt delivery approaches to suit differing customer needs, organisational maturity, and solution complexity.
You’ll remain calm under pressure and bring credibility and a genuine passion for delivering outcomes that matter. You thrive in complex environments, enjoy navigating competing priorities, and are energised by leading multidisciplinary teams through challenging transformation journeys.
What You’ll Do
This is a high-impact role that demands confidence, resilience, and strong leadership. As a Senior Project Manager, you will:
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale, complex Dynamics 365 ERP projects, including Business Central and Finance & Operations
- Act as a trusted advisor to executive sponsors and senior stakeholders, providing clear communication, guidance, and delivery confidence
- Own project governance, including steering committee facilitation, executive reporting, and decision-making forums
- Manage full project economics, including budgets, resourcing, subcontractors, risks, and commercial outcomes
- Proactively identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies, implementing mitigation strategies and contingency plans
- Manage customer escalations with professionalism and diplomacy, ensuring issues are resolved to customer satisfaction
- Drive organisational readiness and adoption in partnership with change and consulting teams
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned to Fusion5’s delivery frameworks and quality standards
- Contribute to the ongoing maturity and consistency of delivery across the wider Dynamics 365 practice
What You’ll Bring
8+ years’ experience delivering large-scale, complex projects within professional services or consulting environments
- Strong experience leading ERP or enterprise technology projects, with exposure to Dynamics 365 Business Central, Finance & Operations, or comparable platforms
- Demonstrated ability to engage and influence executive-level stakeholders, sponsors, and steering committees
- Solid commercial acumen, with experience managing project budgets, margins, and financial reporting
- Strong grasp of delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) and the judgement to apply the right approach for the context
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex delivery detail into clear, business-focused insights
- A calm, structured, and proactive approach to risk, issue, and dependency management
- Relevant tertiary qualification and project management certifications (desired but not essential)
