We're now looking for a seasoned and commercially savvy Principal Integration Solution Architect to join our growing team in Melbourne. This is a senior role within our Data & Integration practice, best suited to someone with experience in a professional services or consulting environment.

You'll play a pivotal part in shaping strategy, driving delivery excellence, leading and mentoring technical teams, setting architectural standards, and ensuring best practices across projects. Acting as a trusted advisor, you'll guide our customers toward future-ready integration solutions, influencing decisions at both technical and business levels. Your expertise will also support pre-sales engagements, helping craft compelling solutions that align with customer objectives and position Fusion5 as a leader in integration services.

What you'll do

Step into a senior role within our Data & Integration practice, driving forward-thinking integration strategies and solutions for our customers. This is a front-of-room position that blends deep expertise with strategic influence, demanding clear and compelling communication skills and the ability to engage and inspire at every level. You will:

• Lead and mentor technical teams, driving best practices and consistent delivery standards.
• Engage with prospective clients to understand their integration challenges and business objectives.
• Support pre-sales engagements, including technical workshops, solution scoping, and proposal development.
• Shape and present tailored integration solutions with Azure Integration Services, MuleSoft, and AWS - balancing hands-on delivery with leadership and oversight.
• Collaborate with sales teams to develop compelling proposals, solution architectures, and statements of work.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-friendly language for diverse audiences.
• Provide thought leadership and contribute to the development of integration best practices and reusable assets.
• Support RFP/RFI responses and contribute to bid strategies.
• Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends and emerging technologies in the integration space.

What you'll bring

• An AI-first mindset to help set the future standard of technical development across the integration landscape.
• 10+ years of experience delivering integration services in a client-facing capacity, specifically within a professional services or consulting environment.
• Proven experience in pre-sales and/or solution architecture roles, including proposal development.
• Deep expertise in Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, API Management, Service Bus), MuleSoft, and AWS integration tools (e.g., API Gateway, Step Functions, EventBridge).
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to align technical solutions to business value.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant certifications in Azure, AWS and/or Mulesoft.
• Experience with hybrid integration scenarios and enterprise integration patterns.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines in integration projects.
