About the Role
As a Solution Strategist within our Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement practice, you'll help organisations reimagine how they engage with customers, employees and partners through modern digital experiences.
Working at the intersection of business strategy, customer experience, AI and technology, you'll partner with executive stakeholders to understand business challenges, identify opportunities for transformation and define compelling solution strategies that deliver measurable business outcomes.
You'll lead complex pre-sales engagements, shape customer transformation roadmaps and develop commercially viable solutions that can be successfully delivered. Drawing on your delivery experience, you'll ensure proposed solutions are realistic, scalable and aligned to both customer objectives and implementation realities.
This role combines strategic thinking, commercial acumen, consulting expertise and solution leadership. You'll be equally comfortable engaging with C-suite stakeholders, facilitating workshops, developing business cases and collaborating with delivery teams to shape successful outcomes.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead solution strategy and pre-sales engagements from discovery through to proposal submission and transition into delivery.
- Facilitate executive workshops and stakeholder discussions to uncover business challenges, customer needs and success criteria.
Shape solution strategies across Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement, Power Platform, AI and broader Microsoft technologies. - Develop compelling proposals, RFP/RFI responses, Statements of Work, business cases and executive presentations.
- Translate customer objectives into commercially viable solution approaches, delivery models and contractual commitments.
- Design scalable, fit-for-purpose solutions aligned to business outcomes and modern architectural principles.
- Partner with Sales, Architecture, Delivery, AI, Security and Consulting teams to develop innovative customer solutions.
- Identify opportunities to leverage AI, Copilot, automation and emerging technologies to create customer value.
- Build trusted relationships with executives and key decision-makers, influencing positive business outcomes.
- Identify delivery risks, assumptions and dependencies early, ensuring proposed solutions are achievable and successful.
- Contribute to the development of repeatable solution offerings, industry thought leadership and Fusion5 intellectual property.
About You
You're a strategic and commercially minded technology professional who enjoys solving complex business challenges and building trusted relationships.
You are someone who takes ownership from concept through to outcome. You don't simply identify opportunities or develop solution concepts. You take accountability for ensuring proposed solutions are practical, commercially sound, deliverable and aligned to customer objectives.
You bring strong delivery experience and understand the realities of implementing complex business solutions. This enables you to translate customer requirements into solution architectures, proposals, Statements of Work and implementation approaches that delivery teams can successfully execute.
You challenge conventional thinking, inspire customers with what's possible and help organisations realise business outcomes they didn't think technology could deliver.
You'll likely have:
- Experience in solution strategy, pre-sales, solution architecture, consulting or digital transformation roles.
- Strong experience delivering Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement and Power Platform solutions.
- Strong discovery, business analysis and solution design skills.
- Experience developing proposals, business cases, Statements of Work and executive-level presentations.
- The ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders and C-suite executives.
Commercial awareness and an understanding of pricing, risk, value propositions and business outcomes. - Experience leading workshops and shaping customer transformation roadmaps.
Knowledge of AI, Copilot, automation and emerging Microsoft technologies. - A proven ability to balance customer outcomes, delivery considerations and commercial objectives.
