- Build and ship internal products that transform enterprise implementation work
- Own changes end to end across services, data, integrations and user interfaces
- Apply modern engineering practices and AI where they deliver measurable value
We are building internal products that change how enterprise implementation work gets done. The products are live, in daily use, and growing. We are hiring experienced product engineers to build on them.
This is a hands-on engineering role. You will pick up items from a live backlog, design the solution, build it, prove it works and ship it. The work spans the full stack, from data and services through to the screens people use.
It suits an engineer who is comfortable owning something end to end, works well with an incomplete brief, and enjoys building tools that other professionals rely on to do their job.
What you'll do
- Deliver from the backlog: size, build and take items through to production as product needs evolve.
- Build across the stack, including services, data models, integrations and user interfaces, owning changes end to end.
- Work with structured and unstructured data from documents, spreadsheets, exports and APIs, where inputs are real and rarely clean.
- Integrate with enterprise platforms through their APIs, handling authentication, rate limits, failures and partial results.
- Apply AI where it earns its place. Build with large language models, measure outcomes, and recognise when deterministic approaches are better.
- Prove the work through automated tests, verified behaviour and releases you can explain; quality is part of delivery.
- Shape what gets built by contributing directly to priorities and technical approaches.
Essential Experience
- Commercial experience: 8+ years building and shipping production software, with meaningful time at senior level.
- Core languages: strong TypeScript and JavaScript across back end and front end; Python or C# as a secondary language is welcome.
- Back end: modern Node.js, API design, authentication, validation and error handling in a service run in production.
- Front end: React with modern patterns, including function components, hooks, client-side data fetching and state; able to build clean, usable interfaces.
- Data: strong relational database skills, schema design, SQL, transactions, indexing and migrations; able to model tables, columns, keys and relationships from business problems.
- Data formats: confident with JSON, XML, XPath and query languages, spreadsheet formats and document parsing; able to work with schemas you did not design.
- Cloud: experience building and running services in a major cloud, ideally Azure, including identity, secrets management, deployment and monitoring.
- AI engineering: practical experience with large language models, prompt design, structured output, validation, and measuring cost and latency.
- Engineering practice: automated testing as a habit, version control discipline, and maintainable code.
Highly regarded
- Working knowledge of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 ecosystem and the Power Platform.
- Familiarity with enterprise business platforms such as NetSuite, SAP or Salesforce.
- Experience with enterprise integration patterns and middleware.
- Document intelligence, information extraction or natural language processing.
- Reporting and analytics platforms.
- Professional services or consulting background, with an understanding of the people the products serve.
What you'll bring
- You have owned a product or platform area, not just closed assigned tickets.
- You work well from an incomplete brief and ask the right question rather than guessing.
- You write clearly, because much of this job is explaining a decision to people who are not engineers.
- You are direct about what you do not know, and you find your own mistakes before anyone else does.
What success looks like
- We are hiring people who contribute from the first week, not after a long ramp. The products are documented, the codebase is tested, and the backlog is ready. What we need is someone who can pick it up and move.
- Week one: environment running and first change shipped to production with tests behind it.
- First month: delivering backlog items independently at a steady rate and raising problems nobody had noticed yet.
- First quarter: trusted with harder items; your judgement shapes how they get solved, not just whether they get done.
- Six months: owning an area outright, receiving work directly and deciding what gets built and in what order.
Why this role
- Real ownership in a small, senior team, with none of the layers between you and the decision.
- Modern stack and genuinely interesting problems, not maintenance of somebody else’s legacy.
- Work used every day by people who will tell you immediately whether it helped.
- Room to grow the platform and your scope with it.
- Applications should include a short note on something you have built end to end and the hardest engineering decision you made along the way.
