As our Dynamics 365 Business Central practice continues to grow, we're looking for a commercially sharp and strategically minded Presales Architect to join our high-performing team in Auckland. This is more than a pre-sales role — it's a pivotal opportunity to shape how we go to market with BC, influence some of our most complex and exciting engagements, and act as a trusted advisor to clients at the highest levels.

You'll lead strategic pre-sales engagements from discovery through to proposal — bridging Sales, Architecture, and Delivery to craft cohesive, compelling Business Central solutions that win. You'll define solution direction, shape response strategies, and engage confidently with C-level stakeholders, translating complex business challenges into clear, high-value BC outcomes.
You'll bring deep BC functional knowledge, strong commercial acumen, and the storytelling ability to make even the most complex solutions land with impact. What you'll do
This is a high-impact, high-visibility role that demands strategic thinking, commercial confidence, and the ability to operate across both the detail and the big picture. As our Presales Architect you will:
- Own and lead BC pre-sales engagements, shaping solution strategy and aligning approaches to client objectives and commercial outcomes
- Facilitate and deliver discovery sessions, workshops, and presentations with business and technical stakeholders to define needs and success criteria
- Develop compelling, high-quality RFP/RFI responses and proactive proposals that clearly articulate the differentiated value of Fusion5's BC practice
- Design end-to-end BC solution models — spanning Core Finance, Inventory, Projects, Warehousing, Manufacturing, and Reporting — tailored to each client's environment
- Architect scalable, fit-for-purpose solutions aligned to Microsoft best practice, leveraging the broader Microsoft stack including Azure, Power Platform, and Copilot where relevant
- Collaborate across Sales, Architecture, and Delivery to ensure alignment between solution strategy and delivery capability
- Embed AI, automation, and data-driven thinking — particularly through Microsoft Copilot and the Power Platform — to enhance efficiency and customer value
- Build and maintain reusable assets — frameworks, templates, and accelerators — to drive consistency and speed across BC engagements
- Identify upsell, cross-sell, and expansion opportunities within the Microsoft ecosystem and contribute to the evolution of Fusion5's BC service offerings
What you'll bring
- Proven experience in solution strategy, pre-sales, or solution architecture within the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central ecosystem
- Deep functional understanding of Business Central across Core Finance, Inventory, Jobs/Projects, Warehousing/Distribution, Manufacturing, and Reporting
- End-to-end pre-sales lifecycle experience, from discovery and solution design through to executive presentations and proposal development
- Strong familiarity with the broader Microsoft stack — Azure, Power Platform, Copilot, and integration tooling — and how it extends and enhances BC solutions
- Strong commercial acumen, including RFP/RFI responses, business case development, pricing inputs, and deal shaping
- Demonstrated ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders, including C-level, translating technical concepts into business outcomes
- Exceptional communication and storytelling skills — able to adapt your style for both technical teams and executive decision-makers
- A Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field (desirable)
