Gabriella Barbara is an experienced Account Director at Fusion5, leading strategic payroll and HRIS transformation projects across New Zealand and Australia. With over 20 years in enterprise tech and business consulting, she specialises in complex payroll modernisation—from business case to implementation—particularly in compliance-heavy sectors.

Gabriella has been instrumental in launching Fusion5’s next-gen payroll platform, *Jemini*, and advises on HRIS sequencing strategies. A frequent speaker at industry events, she co-authored *Payroll Projects: A Survival Guide 2025* and is passionate about demystifying payroll transformation.

John Walters has held senior Health & Safety roles for the last 20 years. He has worked for a number of key organisations across a range of high-risk industries, including Aviation, construction, manufacturing, meat industry, logistics & warehousing.

John is focused on making H&S simple. He believes H&S processes should be integrated into an organisation’s everyday activities, not being an 'add-on' process. Visible Safety Leadership is the key to driving a strong H&S culture, coupled with front-line works input to ensure H&S remain practical and workable.

Having spent a few years previously working as a consultant, John has recently returned to the consulting space creating JDW Safety in 2024.
