About the role:
Following growth, both by acquisition and organically with our strategic partner IBM, we have a fantastic opportunity to take our business to the next level to continue to build on our success.
This exciting role is designed specifically to support portfolio growth primarily for IBM Planning and Analytics/Tm1, being a world-class budgeting, planning and forecasting platform that provides our clients with a single unified, integrated and collaborative platform for AI-infused business planning. We have a large portfolio of clients that represents most industry verticals and a highly skilled professional services team, with several members of our team having international recognition.
We are looking for a high-velocity strategic hunter to see we solidify our position in the market segment as number one.
- To provide focus to our clients who have invested in IBM technology so both our software and professional services business continue a sustainable growth trajectory
- Be the owner of our growth initiatives for both our IBM software and professional services business
- To work closely with our Account Managers and IBM to develop expansion initiatives and retention of our existing clients
- Work closely with our Account Managers, and Annuities team to optimise clients ' spending on IBM software and professional services
- Work directly with the General Manager to execute business development plans for net new IBM business and competitive bids
- Provide expert advice to our business with IBM software and be an advocate of new IBM business both internally and externally
- Work directly with IBM and be the owner of our partnership initiatives, develop and execute plans with IBM leadership
What we are looking for:
- Prior experience in business development with enterprise software sales
- Previous experience in business development with professional services to enterprise clients
- Sales experience is a significant advantage with Financial Planning and Analysis Software; IBM Planning Analytics Tm1 or Anaplan, Workday Adaptive Planning, Onestream, Oracle EPM
- Knowledge from sales of solutions specifically for finance teams; budgeting, forecasting, financial consolidation and reporting
- Experience with competitive takeouts and complex sales bids
- Able to build a strong internal and external brand by influencing others both in person and digitally
- Experience in working in a high-performing velocity sales environment with individual successful quota-carrying experience and goal attainment over 3+ years
